Custom Trophies

I just need to add a post to share (and maybe brag just a little) about the trophies for our upcoming event in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. We need to give a huge shout out to Martin Usher and Apollo Machine and Welding for making (and donating!) these incredible metal discs for us to use as custom trophy toppers. The larger trophy with the brown base will stay in the clubhouse at Beaverhill Sporting Clays and we will update it each year with the name of the shooter with the highest overall score. The smaller trophy with the black base would look great on your mantle, in your office, on your nightstand, or in another location that allows you to show it off, should you achieve the highest overall score. You can even rotate it through those locations for maximum exposure and bragging opportunity for a year, and then bring it to the event next year to defend your title.

We are excited to announce that we plan to host our first annual Targets For Tots event in support of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation! Third time is a charm, right!?

Our event will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Beaverhill Sporting Clays. As our event date approaches we will continue to monitor the Covid restrictions. We may need to modify our event but we plan to make it happen in a fun and safe way. So please mark your calendars and watch for updates here and on our Facebook page.

Sounding Like A Broken Record...

I feel like a broken record to be writing these words again, but we have been following the covid restrictions and have again made the difficult decision to cancel our event for this year. I am hopeful and optimistic that the covid situation will be much better next year and that will allow us to have a great event. Our son's congenital heart disease makes him higher risk so we have been incredibly cautious through it all. The fact that we're all still dealing with covid is frustrating and disappointing but we don't want to put anyone's health at risk.

We are still passionate about this project and have made plans with Beaverhill Sporting Clays to have our first event on June 11, 2022. So please mark your calendars, stay safe, and we will keep you updated on important details for next year's event.

PS For those of you who may be curious, our main organizer had a healthy baby girl on October 3, 2020 and her name is Makenna.
